Bamboo Gardener LLC for the most part is a Retail business, but does sell to wholesale clients.
Bamboos listed below at these prices come in 5 gallon containers that range from 1 foot tall on up. Large specimen size plants in 10-20 gallon and larger pots in heights up to the 8 to 15 foot range are available in limited supply. If you want a really tall speciman ( 15 - 25 feet tall ) they are sometimes available, always in short supply, can not be shipped, can be delivered locally and cost from $250.00 to $450.00 and possibly more. Most specimen-size plants (8 - 15' range) are priced from $120.00 to $180.00 on up based on size and species. A general rule of thumb is if it costs $50 for a 5 gallon container then a 15 gallon is 3 x $50 = $150.00 for the 15 gallon container. And Yellow culm bamboo costs more. Number of culms per container vary, usually 3-5, sometimes more, usually not less. All prices are in $USD.
The most important part of a bamboo plant is not its height when you buy it as height can be a deceptive maturity indicator, as the most important part of the plant is the maturity of the rhizome stock. So a 1 foot tall 5 gallon bamboo that has been in a pot for 2 years with healthy active rhizomes and vigerous feeder roots will always grow taller and faster in the next two years over a 6 foot tall bamboo that someone just pushed into a pot in the last 6 months.
If you desire books, rhizome barrier, rhizome barrier seam kits, tools they can be shipped to you. Of course a shipping and handling fee will have to be added ( Unless otherwise stated ) and this will be determined by the size and weight of each individual order. Plants can be delivered in our truck to you for in State orders, but not shipped vis UPS etc. Be sure to contact us for your shipping costs for your orders.
We accept cash, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Revolution), checks and money orders, Bank Transfers made payable to: Bamboo Gardener LLC. In U.S. Funds.
Washington State residents buying retail must add 9.5% tax to the total bill.

Running Bamboos have a growth habit of spreading out an underground network of rhizomes that branch at various intervals over time to form a large grove given adequate water, sun exposure and nutrients. This can be controlled to an extent by using a rhizome barrier or twice yearly root pruning.

Clumping BamboosClumping Bamboos have a growth habit of only spreading out an inch or so each year. Similar to a daffodil bulb that you plant as a single bulb in year one and dig up five years later to find many little bulblets clinging to the original. The using of a rhizome barrier will not in most cases be needed because of this growth habit. These bamboos come from the conifer and deciduous forests of China growing as an under story plant. They grow best in filtered sun light. A mature plant ranges in height depending on species from six feet to twenty. | ||||
